With the reopening of India to foreign tourists, after a gap of almost 2 years, this year`s participation of India in ITB 2023 is particularly significant. Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has taken several steps to develop the tourism sector especially in the aftermath of the Covid pandemic to new heights, accelerate transition to achieve SDG targets of 2030 and make India a global tourism hub. At ITB 2023, India is showcasing a gamut of tourism products to the international business community.

During ITB 2023, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Embassy of India, Berlin are organizing the above two major events during ITB 2023 on 7th March 2023 to reconnect with our tourism partners and stakeholders in Germany to explore new ties and opportunities.
Highlights, current trends and news from the Indian Tourism Sector will be the leitmotiv of the press conference on Tuesday 7 March, at 14:30,ITB Berlin, City Cube Room Nr. R2 (3rd floor).
The Ambassador of India to Germany, Mr. Parvathaneni Harish, Representatives of the Indian Government, Ministry of Tourism, and of the Indian Tourism Sector will present the news for the 2023 season. After the conference Indian snacks and beverages will be served.

The ITB India Evening will be held at the Indian Embassy on 7 March 2023 at 19:00 onwards (Tiergartenstraße 17, 10785 Berlin).
In the outstanding architecture of the Indian Embassy, built with original red stone from Rajasthan, traditional and contemporary Indian music and dances, as well as a fine Indian dining culinary experience, will be the highlights of the evening. Indian Excellencies and Government representatives will host you through the evening.
